Nozipho was born in 1994 at Emmaus Hospital in the KZN area. She attended school at Mjwayeli Primary school and Enkomokazini Technical High School. She started working as an artist in 2015 at Ardmore Ceramic, where she was mentored by her mother Jabu Nene whom she looked up to. Nozipho says she does this type of artwork because she loves it and it keeps her away from stress. She is motivated to keep working as an artist by her kids. ‘’My kids inspire me to work so that I can be able to provide for them and fill the gap of their father’’, says Nozipho. She added, ‘’Art means a lot to me, it makes me forget about most of my problems and makes me feel happy. It makes me feel like I’m living in my own world’’
