New arrivals, October 2026
Zimele is a small pottery run by Victor Shabalala in KwaZulu-Natal. The sculpting is rougher and more primitive than the studios around it, closer to the hand that made it, and that is what Ed goes back for. Wandile sculpts, Mbali paints.
These are the pieces from the October shipment, the ones we have shown this month and the rest of what came out of the crates.
