Fee Halsted’s daughter, Catherine Berning, will be the guest of honor at two of Pascoe’s upcoming shows in Atlanta and San Antonio. Catherine is following in her mother’s footsteps at Ardmore and has become the lead artist of the Ardmore Design Team. She grew up among the creative Ardmore artists and was taught to paint and sculpt at the studio.
Catherine specializes in graphic art and since 2013 she has been involved in many of the Ardmore design initiatives, including the new Zambezi fabric collection as well as Hermès scarves and beachwear. She works closely with the Ardmore painters, such as Sydney Nyabeze, preparing the artwork for reproduction on fabrics and wallpapers. Catherine is also a champion dressage rider and has represented South Africa internationally.
