Tiger Planter by Senzo Duma Ceramic Arts. Hand sculpted by Thabo Mbhele and hand painted by Junoth Ncube in South Africa. Measuring 12 inches high 16 inches in length and 16 inches in width. A glorious celebration of strong and dramatic sunset colors, this amazing planter is part of the Midnight Safari Collection.  On the sides of the planter, Thabo Mbhele has sculpted wonderful tigers framed by dense foliage and Heliconia.  The young painter, Junoth Ncube, has intricately painted the top and bottom borders with Zulu patterns.  In between Thabo’s tigers and foliage, Junoth has filled the background with realistic depictions of the same Heliconia.  To add a dramatic finishing touch to the piece, Junoth stylized the painting of the tigers by making them midnight black and then painting the stripes in metallic gold.
