“Hi Ed thank you so much for the donation we managed to rebuild the wall for the church only left with the roofing and the floor thanks, Wiseman”

Ed Pascoe has spent years walking the studios of South Africa, and this year he arrived with a question instead of a wish list. He asked the artists of Senzo Duma Ceramics which animals might resonate with collectors in the United States. Then he took the same question to a friend of his, the director of the Nashville Zoo, who answered with a list of the species that draw the biggest crowds in American zoos. Almost none of them had ever passed through the studio's hands.

Wiseman Ndlovu is a self-taught artist, whose passion for art began at an early age. Born and raised in the quaint village of Lidgetton, in the Midland Region of South Africa, Wiseman's love for realism is evident in his paintings.

Ed Pascoe and collector Susie travel to rural KwaZulu-Natal to visit the ceramic artists, share a meal with the community, and witness the human story behind every piece at Pascoe Gallery.
