This exclusive event, taking place from June 4–22 at Martell Gallery’s elegant space at Galerías Piquer – Local 63 (C/ de la Ribera de Curtidores, 29, Centro, 28005 Madrid), marks a collaboration that bridges the opulence of European Art Deco and the rich heritage of African ceramic art. The exhibition highlights the profound stories and traditions of African artists while celebrating the era of global discovery and cultural fusion that characterized the Art Deco movement.
Visitors will experience an immersive blend of sculptural elegance, storytelling, and social impact, as each piece supports communities in rural South Africa. The event will feature a Saturday opening from 11 AM to 2 PM, where guests can meet Ed Pascoe, the African Ceramics expert, and experience the collection in a vibrant ambiance.
